Yoga on the Beach
How to Prepare:
All levels, All Ages
As your instructor, my aim to offer now and has always been ~ for you to 'leave feeling better than you arrived'. There will be a time in practice for you to free flow.. stay longer ~ marinate ~ challenge or drop into R&R early ~ explore. The beginner and the advanced practitioner welcome ~ the outdoor yoga + a new day make us equals in levels of experience.
How we'll be socially distanced : together
There will be stakes 6'+ distanced in the ground to line your towel. Typically, after 9:30 am ~ the beach tends to get more visitors ~ so we're on and off before most are out of bed.
To start: I will wear a mask and provide antibacterial spray for you after signing the release form.
Savasana will be a part of every practice ~ tends to be at the end so you can fully relax before moving into your morning!
A Kripalu based practice . . . with an attitude of pain is information / communication of current boundaries, if we honor pain ~ the boundaries may change / shift and greater movement may be achieved / space experienced. Long term, sustainable mind/body practice is goal.
INCLUSIVE ages 4+
Some young ones have the attention and interest built in ~ as a caretaker ~ you'll know if you'll be able to practice along side your young one and not chase them down the beach:).
$20 per practice, per person.

*Must be able to move from sitting to standing position independently.

Private Yoga for your group or as an individual
is available by appointment: Call. Practice will be structured to the needs of the group / individual.
What to expect/hope for?
Bold, yet grounded movements, personalized breath work, opportunity to build muscle/stamina, to experience deep relaxation and be witness of the days weather, scene of living creatures dolphins, pelicans, osprey, gulls, humans and in observation of where your body/mind is moment to moment.

Practice is 1 hour long, has meditation during the sunrise ~ has movement before so we can move energy ~ during class ~ a visit in water may be included. Every practice is different.
Sunday - Saturday
Focus on grounding, breathing techniques, balance, strength and relaxation.
This is later in the morning with warmer temps ~ please arrive hydrated! At anytime if you get too hot during practice ~ you're welcome to take a stroll in the ocean to cool down.
